1. Scope
Subcommittee E often receives requests from members to develop and ballot new fuel and fuel component specifications. Because Subcommittee E has jurisdiction over numerous specifications that apply to many different fuel uses/applications, there is sometimes confusion about the process of submitting a new specification request. This standard will provide some guidance regarding this process.
This standard will be used by Subcommittee E members as part of our standards development process.
