ASTM WK37669

Revision of A325M - 09 Standard Specification for Structural Bolts, Steel, Heat Treated 830 MPa Minimum Tensile Strength [Metric]

    (What is a Work Item?)

    Active Standard: A325M - 13

Developed by Subcommittee: F16.02 | Committee F16 | Contact Staff Manager

    WK37669

    1. Rationale

The standard currently allows for tensile test fractures to occur in the threads or the bolt body. This proposal would limit acceptable fractures to those in the threads only.
