ASTM WK37509

Revision of C457 / C457M - 11 Standard Test Method for Microscopical Determination of Parameters of the Air-Void System in Hardened Concrete

    (What is a Work Item?)

    Active Standard: C457 / C457M - 12

Developed by Subcommittee: C09.65 | Committee C09 | Contact Staff Manager

    1. Rationale

To remove the Appendix from the ASTM C457 Standard. The standard is a Test Method and most of the information in the Appendix is for informational purposes and is not directly related to the performance of the test method. Any information important to the performance of the test method will be retained in the body of the standard. The standard will provide references to where the removed information can be obtained (ASTM STP 169D, ACI 201 and ACI 212).
