    (What is a Work Item?)

Developed by Subcommittee: E01.05 | Committee E01 | Contact Staff Manager

    1. Scope

To create a standard that can replace standard E-106 STD Test Method for Analysis of Copper Beryllium Alloys Plasma Spectroscopy. Test method to cover procedures for the chemical analysis of copper-beryllium alloys having chemical compositions within the following limits (in %): Copper 97 to 98, Beryllium 0.4 to 2.05, Nickel 0.0 to 0.30, Cobalt 0.0 to 0.3, Iron 0.0 to 0.30

The standard provides support for Copper- Beryllium alloy producers to meet specifications

    Beryllium, E106, Copper- Beryllium Alloys

The title and scope are in draft form and are under development within this ASTM Committee.
