1. Scope
This test method describes procedures for determination of oxygen concentration within the headspace of a sealed package by destructive testing using a zirconia or electrochemical sensor.
Headspace analysis is widely used in the flexible packaging industry for foods, pharmaceuticals, and medical devices, however no standard method exists.
