1. Scope
To establish the minimum requirements for Computed Radiography examination of Aerospace Weldments.
CR has not been proven to be equivalent to film for detection of fine weld defects such as microporosity and fine cracks. This standard is needed to ensure the user selects the appropriate system and equipment settings for a given application.
