1. Scope
A summary of the currently accepted practice outlines the steps in this practice and the reasons for utilizing a process for use-re-use simulated stressing of chemical disinfectant solutions prior to effectiveness testing of a stressed solution. This practice is designated to simulate the organic loading that occurs when a liquid chemical germicide is repeatedly reused and should be performed prior to implementation of any testing method to support efficacy of the reused solution.
