1. Rationale
The second sentence of Section 6.15 of C595 contains a reference to ternary blended cements with more than 70% slag cement content. This is inconsistent with Section 6.14 in which the maximum slag+pozzolan+limestone content is limited to 70% by mass. This ballot item proposes to delete the reference to ternary cements in that sentence of 6.15 for consistency. The limits on slag and pozzolan content were incorporated in 2010 (WK25786, C01 ballot 2010-01, Item 3) and this sentence to Section 6.15 was overlooked at that time.
