    1. Rationale

    The section pertaining to surface texture/surface preparation (Section 10.2) will be updated to address concerns about surface void sizes. In addition, with the implementation of D7759, the calibration section (Annexes A1 and A2) are now obsolete and need to be removed. Finally, A recommendation was made to make the usage of the word probe rather than rod for the retractable metal rod that contains the radioactive source or sources more consistent, specifically in Sections 1.4.1, 1.4.2, 10.4.2, 10.4.3, and Note A1.2.
