1. Rationale

D01.46 recently completed an 11 laboratory round robin assessment of precision and bias for this method. Statistical analysis of the resulting data was performed by ASTMs Interlaboratory Study (ILS) Program. The results of that study have been incorporated into the accompanying document. The only changes are to Section 13, Precision and Bias.
