Scope 1.1 This guide covers the general use, best practices and describes the various delivery systems of aerosol polyurethane and aerosol latex foam sealants extruded from pressurized containers that are intended as a building envelope air barrier sealant and adhesive applications in building construction. It also provides a summary of associated laboratory tests that quantify key physical properties that are useful in decision making for design professionals, engineers, building owners, specifiers or end users.
