Work Item: ASTM WK36871 - New Practice for The Impregnation of Cured-In-Place Pipe Liners with Thermosetting Resins

Developed by Subcommittee: F17.67 | Committee F17 Home | Contact Staff Manager

1. Scope

This practice describes the procedures for the impregnation of 4 to 120 in (100 to 3000 mm) diameter cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) utilizing thermosetting resins. Temporary impregnation facilities set up at the jobsite (on site or over-the-hole wet outs) are also covered under this standard. Once resin saturation is complete, the wet out liner is then used to rehabilitate existing gravity flow or pressure pipelines, process piping, electrical conduits or ventilation systems.
