1. Rationale
The ASTM E36 Committee is looking to update and revise ASTM E699 Standard Practice for Evaluation of Agencies Involved in Testing, Quality Assurance, and Evaluating of Building Components. The committee is looking to reach out to other committees to provide comment and input on the standard so that it can be more effectively utilized and/or referenced by other standards in committees such as E06 and and for new applications in building construction.
