1. Rationale
This should be revised so that thermometers that exceed the 0.1 C or 0.1F resolution, such as Basal thermometers which display to a Hundredth of a degree, are not penalized for exceeding the current standard. I suggest that the standard be revised to state The digital display shall have incremental steps of at least 0.1C or 0.1F.
