1. Scope
This specification defines the procedures to establish engineering design values for wood- and natural fiber-thermoplastic composite products.
Allowable engineering design values have not been developed for this emerging class of materials. Allowable design values will provide engineers, architects, and product specifiers the opportunity to design and use these materials in building construction applications.
