Heating Flux is used as the term for defining the incident flux on the specimen. This term is not used in the fire community. A more common term is Initial Test Heat Flux which is the same term used in ASTM E1354 Cone Calorimeter. To clarify definitions, Heat Flux is also defined as it is in E1354.
