1. Scope
The test method evaluates the Resistance to fuzzing caused by broken filaments or damage to finished loop pile yarn floor covering using a hook tape roller attachment, capable of horizontal movement across the surface of the pile yarn floor covering.
The determination of fuzzing characteristics of level and multilevel loop pile yarn floor covering is useful in quality and cost control during the manufacturing of pile yarn floor covering. The test method in determining the appearance and performance due to changes in the face fiber caused by friction of foot traffic etc.
