1. Rationale
There has been no change to the diagrams in this standard for decades. Many of the diagrams are outdated and there are some important diagrams, such as one for cross-belt and cross-stream samplers, that are not in the standard at all. This work item is to revise and improve the standard by a complete overhaul of the diagrams that are incorporated.
