1. Scope

Develop a test to measure the swell volume of hydrophillic Mucilloid of Psyllium Psyllium is commonly used as a tacking agent for erosion control. The tacking strength of psyllium is related to its mucilage content. Swell volume measures mucilloid content and thus the tacking strength of the psyllum.
