1. Rationale

C1222 Sections 7.2.3 , 7.2.4 , 7.2.7 contain requirements specific to ASTM method C109. During the C01(11-02) ballot C109 was revised to include those requirements. This revision to C1222 removes those requirements to prevent any conflicts between the two methods.
