1. Scope
This standard practice provides guidance for the preparation of compacted asphalt concrete samples subjected to repeated flexural bending.
More testing laboratories have obtained the capability of running the standard test method for determine fatigue failure of compacted asphalt concrete subjected to repeated flexural bending. As the test standard has grown in use, it is necessary to now address the method of compaction for these samples.
