1. Rationale
Several changes are proposed to streamline the Scope of Terminology C125. The proposed revision to Section 1.1 clarifies that only terms used in C09 standards are included and that the definitions are specific to how the terms are used in C09 standards. It is proposed to delete Section 1.5 because it is not the intent of Terminology C125 to duplicate definitions of terms covered in other terminology standards. If necessary, C09 standards can refer to other terminology standards. Section 1.5 is proposed for deletion because this information is covered in the Form and Style for ASTM Standards.
