1. Rationale
Justification: The edits to this standard reflect the consensus of the task group, which convened in May 2011 in Anaheim, CA. This ballot includes proposed revisions agreed to by the Task Group for: 1.Table 1 & 2: to include missing details on ISO 527 tensile specimen geometry; 2.Description of quality system requirements; and 3.The Appendix: to correct the proper orientation of notched impact specimens.
