1. Rationale
The changes shown in this ballot to revise D4318-05 are to address the following issues: 1. Update reference to D6026, 2. Remove the word rubber from the requirements for the base of the liquid limit device. 3. Change the dimensions of the glass plate, 4. Include instructions to not hold the base while turning the crank of the liquid limit device, 5. Change Method B to clarify and allow alternative to remixing in the cup, and 6. Update the Report section.
