1. Rationale

It was brought to the committees attention that the multiplier in Note 6 of ASTM C 233 is incorrect. As stated in ACI 211.1 (as a note under Table 6.3.6), for a workable mixture with the least favorable combinations of aggregate likely to be used should be 1.1 (10%) and not 1.07 as currently stated in ASTM C 233.
