    1. Scope

    This test method covers the determination of the roundness of glass spheres used in pavement marking systems using a Flowing Stream Digital Analyzer.

    The technology of camera based particle observation has made huge advances in recent years. Likewise, the ability of computers and software to analyze the data. The predominant method used for measuring roundness as an industry standard is 50 year old technology. This new standard proposes to offer a more sophisticated and hopefully accurate way of measurement
