    1. Scope

    This practice establishes criteria for the Design, Manufacture, Installation, Operation, Maintenance, Auditing and Major Modification of Non-Motorized Spherical Devices manufactured after the effective date of publication of this document except as noted in 1.3.

    Need: Safe operation of any Non-Motorized Spherical Device Use: with criteria and practice for design and use Users: Designers, Manufacturers, Installers, Operators, Insurers, Inspectors (both internal and external) Auditors


    Walk on Water Ball; Globe-Riding; Sphereing; Orbing; Aqua Sphereing; Human Hamster Ball; and any number of variations in which a human enclosed into a Non-Motorized Spherical Device whether on water or on a course.:

    The title and scope are in draft form and are under development within this ASTM Committee.
