1. Rationale

Add a paragraph to Section 8.2 (Test Specimen Geometry) recommending a minimum number of weave repeating units in the gage section of the composite test specimen. This addition promotes the use of a gage section wide enough to give a homogeneous stress-strain response and minimizes the effect weave variations across the width of the gage section .
