1. Rationale

Add an explanatory note to Section 9.1 (Test Specimen Geometry) recommending a minimum number of weave repeating units across the notch separation distance.This addition promotes the use of a notch separation distance large enough to give a homogeneous stress-strain response and minimizes the effect weave variations across the notch separation distance.
