Work Item: ASTM WK33089 - New Practice for The Design of Close-Fit Liners in a Pressure Application

Developed by Subcommittee: F17.67 | Committee F17 Home | Contact Staff Manager

1. Scope

This practice is intended to be used for the design of a close-fit flexible liner system in a pressure application such as sewer force mains, process water lines, potable water mains, materials transmission lines. The practice is for liners being installed in existing piping that is buried and subject to all the external loading associated with this condition. The existing guidance in the F1216 design appendix is insufficient and technically incorrect to assist the design engineer in arriving at an appropriate design solution for the lining of pressure pipes.

Keywords
