1. Scope
Bowing and rapid strength loss is known to occur in some marbles when used as exterior claddings. This quantitative test method is an evaluation of marble to resist bowing and strength induced by thermal and moisture cycling. For definition of marble, reference is made to C 119 Terminology, marble type I and II.
