1. Rationale

The original Work Item (WK20632) resulted in converting the original SPI Resin Identification Code system into ASTN Standared D7611. This Work Item will cover additions to D7611 being discussed in Section D20.95.01 that are needed to provide additional clarifying information, provide new Codes, suggest better defintions for the existing Codes and in general bring the Standard in-line with current industry practices.
