This standard is comprehensive in scope, which has made it unwieldy. Roughly speaking, 4 sections exist: gamma, beta and alpha spectrometry, and liquid scintillation. With the gamma section, 3 major subsections exist, with highly redundant information. A more parallel and streamlined revision of these subsections will be undertaken.
Aluminum absorption curve; Beta irradiation; Calibration--nuclear analysis instrumentation; Free acid content; Gamma radiation--nuclear materials/applications; Gross beta particle count; Heavy metals spot test; Isotopic analysis; Nonvolatile matter content; Radiochemical analysis; Radionuclides; Solids content; Threshold detectors--.220 MeV or greater;
