ASTM WK31897

(What is a Work Item? / How to Input to a Work Item)

Work Item: ASTM WK31897 - Revision of E181 - 10 Standard Test Methods for Detector Calibration and Analysis of Radionuclides

Active Standard: E181 - 10

Developed by Subcommittee: E10.05 | Committee E10 Home | Contact Staff Manager

1. Rationale

This standard is comprehensive in scope, which has made it unwieldy. Roughly speaking, 4 sections exist: gamma, beta and alpha spectrometry, and liquid scintillation. With the gamma section, 3 major subsections exist, with highly redundant information. A more parallel and streamlined revision of these subsections will be undertaken.

Keywords
