1. Scope
Provide guidance for the selection and integration of active vehicle barrier safety devices for various homeland security applications.
The standard is needed to provide guidance for the creation of adequate safety systems for active vehicle barriers. The users will be architects, government agencies in charge of government building construction and renovation, agencies in charge of security of infrastructure facilities.
