1. Rationale

Subcommittee J approved a ballot at the June 2003 meeting to revise specification D 910 to include two additional additives for use as corrosion inhibitors. Based on additive chemistry, these additives were determined to be chemically equivalent to approved additives currently listed in the specification. The new additives will be included in paragraph 6.3.4 which currently lists approved additives for this purpose.
