1. Scope

This test method applies to the determination of nitrogen and/or oxygen in steel, nickel, and cobalt alloys in concentrations from 0.0000X% to 0.0000X % for nitrogen and 0.0000X% to 0.0000X% for oxygen. Required for routine quality control and final product testing of specified alloys.
