    This test method applies to the determination of carbon and/or sulfur in steel, nickel, and cobalt alloys in concentrations from 0.000X% to 0.000X % for carbon and 0.000X% to 0.000X% for sulfur.

    Required for routine quality control and final product testing of specified alloys.
