As a result of significant activity toward the removal of lead from aviation gasoline, numerous products have been proposed that significantly vary from one another compositionally. In an effort to streamline and simplify the logical placement of a new fuel into one of the existing ASTM specifications, title changes are proposed for D910, D6227, and D7547. The proposed changes should clarify what existing specification a given fuel would likely fall under, thus streamlining the specification process for any fuel producers new fuel.
