1. Scope
1.1This document establishes the minimum requirements for the radiological examination of aerospace castings using either a Computed Radiography (CR) or a Digital Detector Array (DDA) system. 1.2This document applies only to radiologic examination using an x-ray source. 1.3Either discrete criteria and/or the use of ASTM digital reference images will be required.
Standard is needed for the film to digital conversion of radiography for the aerospace industry.
