1. Rationale
C836 references Test Method C794 for Adhesion-in-Peel Testing. A recently completed inter-laboratory study of C794 has led to revisions in the standard, which may have final acceptance this year. Some changes to C794 are problematic when applied to cold liquid-applied waterproofing. The purpose of this modification of C836 is to respond to the changes anticipated in C794.
