1. Scope
To provide a definition for an hydraulically-applied erosion control product (HECP).
A material definition is important to the consumer so that they purchase a product that will meet their intended need. The definition would be built into material specifications for hydraulically-applied fiber products. DOTs, landscape architects and civil engineers would utilize the definition in drafting material specifications.
