1. Rationale
In ASTM A480/A480M, Table A1.2, the annealing temperature for S35115 needs to be changed to 1900F [1040C] minimum, from the existing 2000F [1095C] minimum. Also the annealing temperature for S31277 needs to be changed to 1975F [1080C] minimum, from the existing 2050F [1120C] minimum. This is to allow for needed variations in the metal annealing temperature and furnace variations.
