1. Scope
This guide covers the measurement of volume resistivity of powders. Calculations outlined in the guide can be used in assessing the risk of static discharge and subsequent deflagration presented by a powder handling process.
Used to help determine risk of static discharge which may ignite ignition sensitive powders. Users are safety professionals who determine risk in industries which handle materials in a powder form.
