1. Rationale
Establish a Task Force to study the available data concerning Sulfur in jet fuel and its effects on atmospheric Chemistry. Current Sulfur level specified in the Standard may have to be changed based on any of Field data for levels of sulfur being delivered, environmental concerns for the effects of sulfur compounds in the upper atmosphere and/or around airports, or Federal legislation.
