1. Rationale
This work item will be balloted as 8 seperate ballot items. Needed to improve understanding within the document. A C11 definition currently does not exist. This definition is the current definition in E 631 Terminology of Building Construction (ASTM E2266). Rational: To clarify to the designer that weep screeds are not required in directly applied stucco to solid bases. Rational: To introduce the concepts of a drainage wall system which is not designed to leak, but rather provide drainage to the exterior of the building, while describing the functionality of the 2 layers of building paper
