1. Scope
1.1 This practice describes a practice for identifying, developing, documenting, supporting, conducting, and inspecting field maintenance and continued airworthiness of a sUAS. 1.2 This standard does not purport to address all of the safety concerns, if any, associated with its use. It is the responsibility of the user of this standard to establish appropriate safety and health practices and to determine the applicability of regulatory limitations prior to use.
The FAA has indicated a need to have such a standard in existance to support their efforts to establish an proposed sUAS SFAR 107.
