1. Scope
These guidelines shall facilitate the assessment and definition of project objectives and their consequent influence on 3D image data specifications. These guidelines place no constraints on the composition of 3D image data, its sources, nor any acquisition, processing, data transfer or related processes.
The guidelines offered in this document shall serve to promote the generation of 3D image data meeting overall project objectives within the context of the specific technology and processes employed.
