1. Scope
The scope of this document is to define the layout (i.e., chapter headings) and content to be contained in pilot operating handbooks (POH) for small unmanned aircraft systems that are prescribed or mandated by regulation or other standards to include a POH in the operation of the sUAS. This standard applies to both the initial issuance of the POH by manufacturers as well as the maintenance of the POH by owners and operators.The FAA has indicated a need to have such a standard in existence to support their efforts to establish an sUAS SFAR.
