1. Scope
The scope of this test method will be definition of a test method to measure Seebeck coefficient through four point resistance apparatus and simultaneous measurement of four point electrical resistance. Concensus on the measurement method and calculations will be the result of of this work group.
Standard is needed to create a common test method for measuremnt of Seebeck coefficient so figure of merit and power factor calculations for a thermoelctric material can be compared between different test sites. Users will be manufacturers, end users, national laboratories, academics.
