1. Scope
This test method covers the evaluation of the cleaning performance of products intended for the use on common kitchen surfaces such as: enamel, Formica, ceramic tile and laminated countertops. This method provides the techniques for soiling, cleaning and evaluating performance of cleaning products under controlled but practical, hard surface cleaning conditions.
Due to the Withdrawl of D4488-95(2001)e1 in 2009, a new standard Test method needs to be developed as a replacement.
